The One I Picked Is the Protagonist's Love Interest

System: You're a background-character top, the protagonist top's good buddy, and the protagonist bottom's secret admirer. You're a nobody, but your love runs deep.

A year from now, the vicious villain bottom will try to kill the protagonist bottom. You'll bravely give your life to protect him!

Chu Qi: So?

System: According to the rule that the protagonist bottom chooses who becomes the protagonist top, if you want to survive, work hard to rise to the top!

On a rainy day, with the downpour coming down in sheets,

The protagonist top and bottom are arguing. The protagonist top sees the pitiful villain by the roadside and hands him an umbrella. The protagonist bottom's sorrowful silhouette is reflected in the car window.

System: This is your cue! Go over and gently drape a coat over the protagonist bottom's shoulders~

Chu Qi nods, calmly hits the gas, and pulls up beside the vicious villain. "Get in."

What good is a lousy umbrella? Can't you see the water's already up to your legs?

Gu Zhi, the vicious villain who's been reborn: ?

System: You made it to the top, but the wrong top!!!

Chu Qi: What do you mean the protagonist top is the one chosen by the protagonist bottom? The person I choose is the one who should be the protagonist bottom.

An utterly self-assured top vs. a deranged, blackened mad-dog bottom who bites whoever's nearby

Theme: Love yourself. Be utterly self-assured
