Lin Jianwei is an unlucky guy who lives on a remote trash planet and makes a living scavenging garbage.
The first piece of trash he picked up gave him a real-life version of The Farmer and the Snake. After waking up, it stole his only valuable possession, a necklace, and vanished without a trace. He searched the entire trash planet but never found it.
The second piece of trash was an ingrate. Lin Jianwei worked hard to care for it for two months, only for it to run off as soon as its injuries healed.
After being deceived twice in a row, Lin Jianwei vowed never to pick up random trash again.
But before long, he found a third piece of trash.
The man looked wealthy and refined. Thinking that when he woke up, he might give Lin Jianwei a large sum of money, Lin Jianwei still took him home and cared for him attentively.
When the man woke up, he didn't run away. He only asked gently, "Would you be willing to be my son?"
Lin Jianwei: "..." So much for getting rich by scavenging! They're all liars!
