Fox Immortal [Mystery]

Li Rong was plagued by bad luck. She unexpectedly arrived in an unfamiliar era, where she knew no one and nearly starved to death.

Her special ability let her read people's emotions, which was about as useful as nothing here. It was completely worthless.

Fortunately, she met a kind-hearted female doctor who took her in and gave her work at the clinic, enough to put food on the table.

Before long, everyone in the county was saying that a fox demon was taking lives and had killed the young master of the Wei family.

Later, for some reason, the authorities suspected that the female doctor was working with someone selling poison. Even Li Rong, who only did odd jobs, was arrested and thrown into prison as an accomplice.

Li Rong: ...How could anyone be this unlucky?

What would a killer be feeling?

The glee of getting away with it? A twisted thrill beneath a kindly facade? Or the fear of being exposed at any moment?

Li Rong saw that person's sticky, clinging emotions.

After being unlucky for so long, she had finally found a use for her ability.

Theme: Never give up.
