#Homepage: "All I Want Is a Silver Dragon Mama," a nonhuman dragon-raising BG story. Come give it a try!#
Planned for the first half of 2026. If it gets over 300 bookmarks, I'll start posting right away!
[Feisty, hard-hitting, possessive black wolf heroine] x [carefree, sharp-tongued-but-soft-hearted gray wolf papa]
A child-rearing story + strong heroine BG story, sweet misunderstandings from two different perspectives, lighthearted with no melodrama + happy ending for everyone + lots of smooching + a contentious, grow-together romance
Heroine's perspective:
Lang Jian knew Lang Zhaoye had never intended to adopt her.
He was carefree by nature and didn't care about pups at all. He'd only taken her in because the black wolf clan had dumped this hot potato in his lap.
When she was little and begged for food because she was hungry, he suddenly lost his temper, grabbed her by the scruff, and threw her to the ground. He left her huddled there, helpless and shivering in the cold wind.
She made it through her puphood by lying low and keeping her feelings to herself.
Wolves are patient hunters, and she kept waiting
waiting for the day she could completely overpower Lang Zhaoye. She'd knock him to the ground and make sure he remembered never to provoke a black wolf who holds a grudge.
Hero's perspective:
Lang Zhaoye was nearly driven to the brink of losing his tail from dealing with Lang Jian.
His biggest regret was the time she was too young to even open her eyes, hungry and whimpering for her mama. His heart softened, and he held her to his chest, letting her suck on his... milkless nipple as she fell asleep.
After that, the little wolf pup was unstoppable.
She wanted him to carry her around all the time, and at bedtime she'd root around looking for milk.
She was even worse when she was hungry. Her baby teeth raked bloody scratches across his wolf-form belly, making his face twist with pain.
Once she bit into something, she wouldn't let go, and usually ended up eating nothing at all.
He had no choice but to pick her up by the scruff and set her aside, then tear off the tenderest part of a young deer's belly to feed her.
He thought she'd grow more sensible once she got older,
but he never expected...
"Hey." The black wolf flipped the older gray wolf onto his back, pressing sharp fangs threateningly into the fur on his neck. "Guess what I'm going to do?"
The gray wolf's voice came out muffled, as if he were choking. He gave an unconcerned snort and casually replied, "Bite through my throat and challenge me for the position of clan leader? She's old, but her experience and tactics are still... Hm?!"
His eyes flew wide as he watched Lang Jian keep him pinned down, then lower her head and bury half her wolf face in his belly, expertly finding the spot...
She latched on and started suckling at once!
The black wolf happily kneaded with her paws.
The gray wolf: "..."
They are not blood-related. "Papa" is a role, not her real father. The heroine has no romantic feelings before adulthood.
The heroine grows stronger over time. She's very weak as a pup at first, but gradually becomes strong on her own.
Both leads are powerful, but the heroine is stronger than the hero.
Set in a beastfolk world, though animal forms appear more often (they differ from real-life animals).
Both leads are sexually inexperienced and devoted to each other. No children in the story. Readers with strong sensitivities or lots of hard limits, please don't read.
Theme: People should be responsible.
