Echoes of Summer

"My Brother Has Liked You for a Long Time". A story about siblings

Xia Ran & Shen Huiyin

A pure-hearted, sunny, competitive golden retriever boy & a pitiful, hearing-impaired beauty like a cat

Shen Huiyin was born with a hearing impairment. She can't hear in one ear. Because of this, her parents abandoned her, and she grew up with her grandmother.

The world is gray and bleak all year round.

She thinks keeping her distance will spare her a lot of trouble. Keeping everyone at arm's length really is more convenient.

Shen Huiyin has no close friends and lives utterly alone in this world.

Then one day, a ray of light sees the copper walls she's built up, and doesn't even knock.

After saying hello, he barges right in, and somehow really does make it through.

Later, he doesn't just break through her copper walls.

He even takes her by the hand and leads her into the operating room to heal her ear.

The first voice she hears in her right ear is Xia Ran.

It echoes over and over through her world.
