[Sendo X Rukawa] Early Summer

I wrote this last summer. I just remembered it, so I thought I'd post it. Here is the rambling I wrote before the story back then: Summer begins. I'm not sure when it started, but every summer I find myself thinking of them. Even when summer is only just beginning to show. A slightly warm breeze blows, and I can almost see them running and leaping beneath the blazing sun. In the anime, that summer was shown as little more than sunlight and sweat, yet it seemed to soak into everything. Their laughter and tears always fill me with the feeling of a wild, unrestrained summer. Maybe that's why summer has always felt special to me. Rereading this now, perhaps I cared too much about this pairing, or rather, about these two people, and ended up trying too hard as I wrote. But there's nothing I can do about it. I don't think I'll ever be able to write Sendoh and Rukawa casually... Theme:
