Xun Lin is an adorable mutant of the ancient divine beast Chenghuang.

One day, he runs into a ruthless human.

The human licks his teeth, seemingly wanting to eat him.

In the apocalypse, any creature that isn’t poisonous can fill your stomach.

Xun Lin is a vegetarian and has zero fighting ability...

In desperation, Xun Lin tackles the human to the ground and covers his eyes with his fluffy tail.

“Don’t eat me. I’m not tasty.”

In the end, the human doesn’t eat Xun Lin. He just gazes thoughtfully at the handsome, completely naked young man who has suddenly appeared.

There’s a rule in the apocalypse: if you discover a mutant, you have to kill it on the spot.

Xun Lin sees the greedy hunters pull out their guns.

Just as he thinks he’s done for, the human says:

“Little mutant, pick one: let me eat you, or let them eat you.”

“When you eat me, can you save my tail for last?”

Xun Lin tries to negotiate with the human.

“Why?”

“It... It’s afraid of pain.”

The human reaches out and pinches the tip of his tail. “This part is afraid of pain?”

Xun Lin’s pupils contract instantly.

Touching the tip of a mutant’s tail is an invitation to mate...

The human gives Xun Lin ten rules:

Rule One: Only listen to your master.

Rule Two: Ask your master before eating.

Rule Ten: Don’t get together with other dogs.

Xun Lin reads the rules and realizes what they mean. He’s angry and heartbroken.

He’s an ancient divine beast, and this ignorant human has the nerve to call him a mongrel!

The consequences of angering a divine beast are severe.

Unpolluted plants wither, and food supplies plummet.

The human realizes something is wrong.

He finds the “little mutant’s” den, hoping to appease him.

But instead, he runs into the mutant’s mating season...

Xun Lin still has no idea what’s going on.

He watches the human darkly add another rule:

Rule Eleven: Don’t wag your tail at anyone else!

Sweet little darling and a ferocious big bad wolf~
