The human lays down ten rules for Xun Lin:

Rule One: Only obey your master.

Rule Two: Ask your master before eating.

Rule Ten: Don’t get involved with any other dogs.

Looking at the rules, Xun Lin realizes what they mean and is both angry and hurt.

He’s an ancient divine beast, and this ignorant human has the nerve to call him a mongrel!

The consequences of angering a divine beast are serious.

Unpolluted plants wither, and food supplies dwindle rapidly.

The human realizes something is wrong.

He goes to the little mutant’s den, hoping to soothe him.

Instead, he stumbles upon the mutant’s mating season...

Xun Lin still has no idea what’s going on.

He watches as the human scowls and adds another rule:

Rule Eleven: Don’t wag your tail at anyone else!
