The Oblivious Uncle

-

In early spring, a small starship landed on a remote planet. The sight of such "premium goods" immediately drew a crowd.

The handsome man ignored the onlookers, maneuvered his wheelchair, and calmly moved into a long-abandoned cottage on the corner.

Chen Jin had spent eighteen years scraping by in the most chaotic part of the district. It was rare to see someone so refined.

Traveling alone and unable to walk properly, the man was clearly a perfect target for a robbery.

Bo Wenzheng retired early due to an injury and casually picked a barren planet to spend his remaining years.

A young man claiming to be a volunteer came to his door, taking care of all the chores without asking for anything in return.

"The neighborhood services here are pretty good," the man remarked, cooped up at home.

Chen Jin had just finished a violent shootout. He smiled gently and leaned closer. "Uncle, your collar's buttoned too tightly. It can't be easy to breathe. Let me help you, okay?"

He wasn't after money.

The "one-on-one assistance" program went on for a long time before the man belatedly realized something was amiss.

Staring at his chest in the mirror, he silently wrapped a bandage around himself. "Young people these days are really..." Shameless!
