[Reborn!] The Corner Where Starlight Lingers

I recorded a very, very long stretch of time.

I want to tell you a story about them.

The story began in the kindergarten in Bingsheng Town, where a girl as warm as a little sun met a boy as cool and distant as a drifting cloud.

Her name was Fujiwara Shiori, and his was Hibari Kyoya.

I recorded countless moments of theirs:

From the sweetness of sharing a box of cookies to shouldering the heaviest burdens of life together; from building a secret hideout just for the two of them to facing the noise and hostility of the whole world side by side.

I watched them grow from children with childish voices into young adults in their prime.

It was a long road, so long it took twenty years to measure.

It was not always sweet, but its honesty made it moving.

In this story, you will see the longest-lasting protection and companionship.

He is the blade in her physical world, cutting through every thorn in her way;

She is the glimmer of light at the edge of his humanity, protecting the last softness deep within him.

This is a story about drawing close, and a cosmic phenomenon in which two stars with utterly different orbits eventually circle one another.

1. A Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Hibari Kyoya BG fanfic, featuring the original female protagonist Fujiwara Shiori, told in first person.
