My Sister's Coworker Is My Ex

Cha Tingyu's younger sister successfully entered a hospital residency program. In her spare time, she often talked about her colleagues in the department and shared amusing stories from work.

At first, Cha Tingyu paid little attention, until her sister showed her a group photo from a dinner they had together.

Cha Tingyu's eyes widened as she looked at the woman in the corner, smiling brightly.

This...

Wasn't this her ex, the one she had parted on bad terms with?

She took a few breaths to calm her shock, then pointed at the familiar face in the photo and asked, "Is she... your colleague too?"

Her sister gave an excited nod. "Yeah! She's the nicest person in the department to me. We're best friends."

"Actually, I was planning to introduce you two in a few days."

Cha Tingyu couldn't catch her breath. Her eyes rolled back, and she fainted.

During a rainy season that left her feeling restless, Cha Tingyu accidentally lost her phone. She tried everything she could think of, but couldn't get it back. Just as she was ready to give up, she came across a lost-and-found post online.

There, neatly displayed, was her phone, along with... the ID photo of her ex, tucked inside the phone case.

In the busy clinic, Cha Shiyun gave a surprised little gasp and forwarded the post she'd just found to Xiang Qingxu. "Qingxu, is this your ID photo?"

After asking, she muttered in puzzlement, "My sister lost a phone recently too. Judging by the model and the case, it looks like it might be the same one."

Xiang Qingxu ran her fingertips over her ID photo and murmured to herself, "Isn't this the photo I gave her?"

"She... still has it?"

Cha Shiyun's puzzled voice sounded beside her. "Qingxu, do you know my sister?"

Xiang Qingxu put her phone away and gave a bitter smile as she looked toward the door.

Of course she knew her.

She'd recognize her even if she were reduced to ashes.
