A Confession Sealed Away

She thought he had never confessed his feelings. He thought she had left because he confessed. When she returned six years later, everything had changed.

Lin Wan's youth was spent living under someone else's roof, feeling small, in a school uniform washed pale from wear. She never imagined that Jiang Jingchen, bright as the sun, would notice her hiding in the shadows.

With one thoughtlessly tender gesture after another, he became the only light in her bleak life. They promised to go see the sea together and planned a future side by side.

But on the eve of the college entrance exam, a sudden upheaval at home made her leave without a word. She also missed the heartfelt confession he had hidden inside a stuffed toy.

Six years later, when she finally discovered the recording he had made so long ago, she was already wearing another man's wedding dress. When they met again, everything had changed. The "I love you" she had kept buried in her heart ultimately faded away with time.

Some loves are destined to be like rain that soaks your youth: they once nourished you, but left you with regrets, too. This is a story about missed chances, treasured memories, and letting go.

A bittersweet ending.

Theme: Believe in the future, and be confident and independent.
