You Can't Go Home Tonight

Everyone on the production crew knew that

Xie Wangshu, the female lead, and Gu Zhichao, the male lead, were the hottest stars around,

but also bitter rivals who clashed at every turn.

Xie Wangshu suspected Gu Zhichao of using her to stir up dating rumors.

Gu Zhichao looked down on Xie Wangshu for not having studied acting at an academy.

Their fans had been waging daily online wars over billing ever since filming began.

The agents pretended not to see it, and the producer was at their wit's end.

But on the day filming wrapped,

before the production crew could make an official announcement,

paparazzi got there first and released a video.

Through the sheer hotel curtains, their shadows were visible.

In a suite lit by dim, intimate lamplight,

a man in a bathrobe walked out of the bedroom.

Xie Wangshu happened to be standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, about to close the curtains.

The man came up behind her and slipped an arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.

He gently lifted her thick, tousled curls.

Through a gap in the curtains, the man turned his head and kissed her fair neck.

That one profile instantly set the internet ablaze--

It was Gu Zhichao!
