-------- Blurb ---------

Tang Changpu has always known what she wants.

At first, she only wanted money. A whole lot of money, enough to drown in, enough to buy whatever she wanted.

One day, she sat on a bridge. Above her was a gloomy sky without stars or moon; below her was a calm river, as if water spirits were beckoning her in.

She swore she really was just spacing out. Before she had earned enough money, she wasn't especially eager to die just yet.

Then a fluffy little puppy, whimpering as it cautiously approached, came up beside her and gently nuzzled her. It was soft and warm.

Everything it said was about how she shouldn't throw her life away.

Looking into the puppy's damp eyes, Tang Changpu saw a kid who had clearly grown up surrounded by love and seemed to come from a decent family. A destructive urge rose in her: to play with him until she got bored, then throw him away.

Later on,

Tang Changpu wanted more than just money. She wanted love, too.

She wanted everyone's love, but his most of all.

Theme: If you love money, earn it honestly; if you love someone, put yourself in their shoes.
