Content warning: This is a self-indulgent story, so enter with care. Sickly characters are my preference. If you can't accept that, there's no need to say anything; just stop reading. The early part isn't purely sweet, with a touch of angst and some adjustment between the characters. I'll try to update more often and keep things moving.
[Privately sensitive, clingy, haughty sickly kitty bottom x strict, fatherly top]
A difference in build and age
Traditional doting top and beautiful bottom
Wen Mingyue knows he's withdrawn and strange. He doesn't like dealing with people and lacks empathy. His skin is so pale he looks like a vampire who never sees daylight.
He was born to provide blood for his older brother.
When his brother recovered from his illness, Wen Mingyue was sent off to the Han family, where he was to marry Han Yi, the only son of the younger generation.
Han Ji is now the head of the Han family, and Han Yi's uncle.
Mature and steady, polite and gentlemanly, he repeatedly steps in to help Wen Mingyue out of trouble during his stay with the Han family.
Wen Mingyue thinks he's an ungrateful person, because he's set his sights on Han Ji.
Until Han Ji proposes that they get married.
Wen Mingyue: "?"
That was easier than expected?
Han Ji actually thinks Wen Mingyue is cute, well-behaved, and clingy. He's as white as a little ball of glutinous rice, and Han Ji always wants to tease him a little, though he also needs discipline.
*
Not long after marrying Han Ji, Wen Mingyue's life changes completely. Before he knows it, he's grown accustomed to relying on him.
But then he develops a new problem.
Han Ji is very strict with him.
One day, while Wen Mingyue is livestreaming, he stares seriously at the comments, answering them in a dazed way because of the time difference. Han Ji suddenly comes in with his medicine and says in a deep voice, "It's nine o'clock. Turn off the computer, hand over your phone, and go to bed."
Wen Mingyue doesn't want to go to bed so early, so he just stares at him. But Han Ji refuses to budge and puts pressure on him instead. "I've gone to so much trouble to get you healthy. You can't ruin your health and let me down."
He pauses and thinks for a while before saying, "All right, then."
Viewers, completely baffled: [Thumbs up][Thumbs up][Thumbs up] Making him go to bed at nine and confiscating his phone. Chinese-style parenting wins.
But the next moment, when Wen Mingyue gets up to mute his mic, his slightly rounded belly flashes across the screen, and the comments instantly explode.
Tips:
1. The bottom is sickly, and quite often so. He's delicate, cries easily (though it's just uncontrollable tears), and has a cute deadpan expression. He's actually very aloof around others and deeply dependent on the top. He's not a traditionally strong bottom (please take note and don't force yourself to read if you can't accept that), but he has his own career arc.
2. The top has questionable values, but when teaching the bottom how to behave, his values are so correct they're practically unhinged.
3. Pregnancy and childbirth. Ten-year age gap: the bottom is 22, the top is 32.
4. A fake getting-back-together story. The villainous rival top has little screen time and is mainly there to advance the main couple's relationship.

Setting: An alternate-history turn of the millennium
Meticulous, fatherly top x delicate little beauty bottom (a bit of a drama queen, though exactly how much is anyone's guess)
Fake step-sibling relationship
At the turn of the millennium, a time of rapid development and scarce resources, a transfer student arrives at Yulin High School.
Soft, fair-skinned, beautiful, and a good student, he seems like a flower carefully raised in a greenhouse, and looks as if he comes from one of Yulin's wealthy families.
Everyone thinks Song Ci is a rich family's child.
But nobody knows that at night, he returns to a cramped, poor rental room with no heating, where he falls asleep in his brother's arms.
A soft, pale bundle, completely enveloped by Liming's sturdy, wheat-colored chest. Song Ci curls up as if nestled into his brother, resting his hands on his warm skin to keep himself warm.
A year ago, he was the village jinx who had supposedly brought his parents to their deaths. Frail and sickly, he was passed around like a hot potato. Liming devoted himself to caring for the sickly boy, taking on the responsibility of an older brother who was also a father.
Despite the poverty of those times, Song Ci never had to suffer.
The comfortable life he seems to have is all because his brother loves him.
**
Liming has a beautiful younger brother. He's a good student, frail and delicate but well-behaved and sensible, never giving anyone a reason to worry.
Everyone who knows Liming says he must have done something right in a past life, but Liming knows they aren't related by blood.
He bears the title of older brother and watches his younger brother grow up day by day.
Like every old-fashioned parent who tries to control their child's first romance, he lectures him righteously: "Study hard. Don't start dating too young."
At first, Song Ci obediently does as he's told.
Until Song Ci's rebellious phase begins.
He starts arguing with Liming.
Song Ci looks up at him, his little face stubborn. "I like someone. I want to date them!"
Liming is furious. He glares and raises his hand to smack his younger brother's backside, but Song Ci suddenly silences him with a kiss.
Before, Liming would scrutinize everyone who got close to his younger brother:
Either their hair was dyed every color of the rainbow and they were some kind of troublemaking punk, so they weren't suitable company, or they were oily and glib, and clearly unreliable.
But the instant his younger brother kisses him, Liming's hands and feet go numb. His heart lurches.
---He's the one who led his younger brother down the wrong path!
**
A little scene:
After Liming realizes his younger brother is going through puberty, he deliberately starts keeping his distance.
But worried his younger brother might be led astray by the wrong sort of people, he decides to help him himself.
Song Ci lies on the bed, his straight legs spread apart, his knees pink and trembling slightly.
His eyes are unfocused, his voice soft and alluring. "Ming-ge. Would a big brother help his little brother with this kind of thing? Would a big brother do this to his little brother?"
Content warnings:
1. I like writing stories about people who understand and depend on each other, with no one else to rely on.
2. Sickly bottoms are my preference.
3. Pregnancy and childbirth.
4. My own take on the entertainment industry.
