[Main story complete] [The remaining extra chapters will be posted in the bonus extras over time]
[Mean, pampered, spoiled, bad-tempered troublemaker with a good heart, bottom VS cold, patient, petty, fatherly top]
Chi Nai grew up in luxury, throwing his family name around to bully everyone in the capital. At twenty-three, he acted like a thirteen-year-old, and people gave him a wide berth.
Then his father hired him a tutor. The headstrong Chi Nai finally met his match in that tutor for the first time.
He knew Shang Mingjing came from a poor family and was beholden to the Chi family, so he bullied him relentlessly. He treated him like his own possession, demanding that he be at his beck and call, and even forced him to marry him.
It wasn't until Shang Mingjing had gained power and influence and quit, giving him a torrent of harsh words, that Chi Nai realized he'd thoroughly ruined everything.
He had failed.
Overcome by the little shame and guilt he had left, Chi Nai ran away, dragging his gravely ill body along and carrying the child in his belly, not yet a month along.
Shang Mingjing worked for Chi Nai's father. At his employer's request, he went to keep an eye on the Chi family's only heir.
When the heir sneaked out to drink in the middle of the night, Shang Mingjing had to put down his work and follow him, then carry the drunkard home and look after him with stomach medicine and hangover soup.
When the heir inexplicably got into a vicious fight with someone, Shang Mingjing had to leave his business partner behind and hurry over to break it up.
In short, he loathed the useless young heir.
That is, until the bad kid said he liked him.
But one moment he was demanding they get married, and the next he was gone. He was away for two whole months.
When Shang Mingjing had finished dealing with his affairs and searched high and low for him, the once arrogant, overbearing little tyrant was staggering out of the rain and into a rundown rental room, looking utterly wretched.
Seeing him like this, Shang Mingjing was both furious and glad.
Shang Mingjing stepped forward and clamped a hand around Chi Nai's wrist, gripping hard as he pinned him against the shabby wooden door and pressed close, as if he meant to hold him entirely in his arms. His voice was harsh and stern: “Why did you run? Feeling guilty? Didn't you cause enough trouble out there on your own before?”
Chi Nai had grown so thin he was barely recognizable. Eyes red, he mumbled before managing to say, “S-sorry... but... who are you?”
Only after Chi Nai forgot Shang Mingjing did Shang Mingjing understand that what was lost could not be recovered.

A Guide to Raising a Sickly Childhood Friend
Setting: An alternate-history turn of the millennium
A meticulous, fatherly top X a delicate little beauty, bottom (a little bratty, perhaps, Schrödinger's brat)
Fake brothers
In an age of scarce supplies and rapid development, a transfer student arrives at Yulin High School.
Soft, fair-skinned, pretty, and good at school, he seems like a delicate flower nurtured in a greenhouse, and looks like the child of a wealthy family in Yulin City.
Everyone assumes Song Ci comes from a rich family.
But no one knows that at night he returns to a cramped, impoverished rental room without heating, where he sleeps in his brother's arms.
A soft, pale bundle, wholly enclosed by Liming's sturdy, wheat-colored chest. Song Ci curls up as if nestled right into his brother's embrace, laying his hands on his brother's warm skin to keep them warm.
A year ago, he was the village jinx who had supposedly brought his parents to their deaths. Frail and sickly, he was passed around like a hot potato. Liming alone cared for him wholeheartedly, taking on the responsibility of being an elder brother and a father.
Even in those impoverished times, Song Ci never had to suffer.
His life only looks comfortable because his brother loves him.
**
Liming has a beautiful younger brother who does well in school. Though frail and delicate, he's obedient, well-behaved, and never causes trouble.
Everyone who knows Liming says he's incredibly lucky, but Liming knows they're not biological brothers.
He calls himself the boy's big brother as he watches him grow up day by day.
Like every old-fashioned parent who tries to stop their child from dating too young, he lectures him with righteous authority: “You need to focus on your studies. No dating.”
At first, Song Ci obediently follows all these rules.
Until Song Ci reaches his rebellious phase.
The two begin arguing.
Song Ci looks up at him, stubbornly lifting his chin. “I have someone I like. I'm going to date them!”
Liming is so angry he glares and raises a hand to swat his brother's bottom, but Song Ci unexpectedly silences him with a kiss.
In the past, Liming always scrutinized everyone who approached his younger brother:
Either their hair was dyed a rainbow of colors and they were a delinquent, unsuitable company; or they talked smoothly and couldn't be trusted.
But the instant his younger brother kisses him, Liming goes numb from head to toe and his heart jolts:
He's the one who led his younger brother down the wrong path!
