The Madam Wants a Divorce

Shen Yunqi and Su Jiangyu married under an agreement. They treated each other with respect and courtesy, and were considered a model couple in the capital. Their life together was peaceful.

But after Shen Yunqi distinguished himself once again, the emperor suddenly decided to give him a concubine, and Su Jiangyu was unhappy. Back when Shen Yunqi was at his lowest, she had married into his household, and he had promised that she would be the only one for the rest of his life.

Yet at Shen Yunqi's celebratory banquet, Su Jiangyu learned from the others that he had someone he cherished in his heart. She wanted to ask him about it, but Shen Yunqi was evasive, and her doubts only grew.

An emotional affair.

Not long afterward, Su Jiangyu handed Shen Yunqi a divorce agreement.

Only then did Shen Yunqi realize what had happened, and he tried all sorts of ways to win her over.

Su Jiangyu: “I want a divorce!”

But as time went on, Su Jiangyu discovered through all kinds of small details that Shen Yunqi had always been paying attention to her.

In the end, seeing that Shen Yunqi's brother still couldn't bring himself to speak up, he quietly told Su Jiangyu that Shen Yunqi had nearly starved to death at the border as a child, and that she had once saved him. The person he cherished was the female lead.
