"This is Homecoming Hospital, a place where we save lives and heal the sick."
"The medical staff here need to remember four key principles."
"First, protect your life. Nothing matters more than your own safety."
"Second, accept, adapt, take the initiative, and leave."
"Third, respect everything. Don't overestimate yourself."
"Fourth, keep learning throughout your life."
Zombie apocalypse.
The emergency doctor stared at the frenzied zombie on the bed and put her hands on her hips in resignation. "My mistake. I shouldn't have entertained the illusion that he could answer me."
Patients who can't respond are a bit hard to deal with.
Two-brained planet.
The neurosurgeon stepped away from the operating table, dark circles under his eyes, and pouted. "I hate this place."
Who can relate?
A surgery that should've taken three hours took six instead.
Now I've got one head and twice the trouble!
Flying fortress night.
"I never thought that one day..."
The orthopedic surgeon gripped a mallet and said through gritted teeth, "I would have to! Perform! Bone realignment surgery! On wings!"
Who was it that decided to put wings under orthopedics in the first place!!!
"Ring-ring-ring!"
The phone rang urgently.
"Hello, this is the emergency department at Homecoming Hospital."
"GUGugu..."
"All right. Please stay where you are and wait for rescue."
Reader's guide:
1. This book differs greatly from the previous one, "This Immortal Palace Is a Hospital!" You can read this one on its own.
2. It's no longer limited to science, and the author's imagination runs wild. (In the author's opinion.)
(The blurb may be revised later, but the story probably won't change.)
