I have a superpower: every night when I sleep, I enter someone else's dreams.
Sounds super cool, right?
Hmph. Actually, it's not cool at all.
The person whose dreams I enter seems to be the same every time. All I see each day is the same mosaic. Don't get the wrong idea. It's not that kind of mosaic, but one with a bit of red in it.
I had beginner's protection for the first half, but in the second half I was forced to face one horrifying, bloody scene after another.
Murder scenes strewn with corpses, eerie abandoned dumping grounds, chainsaw chases that sent my adrenaline soaring...
For a long time, I had less and less energy, as if life were beating me half to death...
Wasn't I supposed to be the chosen one?
Wasn't I supposed to be one of those lucky people with an amazing superpower that could change my life?
Why do I have to suffer like this?
After being put through the wringer for long enough, I made up my mind:
“Damn pervert, just let me catch you! I'll make sure you rot in prison!!!”

Cong Xi suspected someone was following him.
It was his neighbor, someone he had never even greeted. At first, the other guy would just block the doorway and peek inside.
After Cong Xi accidentally dripped a few drops of red paint in the hallway, things got much worse.
He went out to scout locations, and the guy followed.
He went to the mall to find reference materials and bought a small chainsaw, and the guy followed.
He went to the cemetery to pay respects to his family, and the guy still followed.
Every time Cong Xi turned around, he would see that kid looking aggrieved, muttering something under his breath and seeming downright afraid of him.
The guy was a total oddball. He didn't look very bright.
Cong Xi had tried to warn him, but whenever he got close, the guy would bolt like a rabbit that had spotted a wolf.
Then one day, Cong Xi came home carrying the pork he'd just bought. As soon as he opened the door, he saw a room full of police officers and his trembling neighbor hiding behind them.
The guy pointed at him and shouted, “Officers, it's him! Hurry up and arrest him so society can have some peace and quiet!”
Only then did Cong Xi realize what was going on. He'd been mistaken for a pervert.
“Comrade, this is all a misunderstanding. Let me explain.”

After the misunderstanding was cleared up, their impressions of each other changed to:
Zhu Lele: from a not-so-bright little pervert to a not-so-bright morning glory
Cong Xi: from an antisocial, perverted lunatic to an otaku with weird tastes
A scatterbrained, loudmouthed shou * a gloomy otaku gong with a sharp tongue
Theme: Obeying the law is an important virtue.
