Host, Please Spend Money

When you're poor enough, you can't even bear to spend forty yuan on a ride home.

You feel bad about spending your money, and even worse that you can't bring yourself to pay the fare home.

On the night Bian Jin crouched by the road, waiting for a ride and crying, she hit the jackpot.

Not the lottery, and not the stock market.

It was a System.

A spending System.

[Host, please spend money.]

The System told me it wanted me to spend money happily.

On the very first day it arrived, it saw me crying over having to spend money, so it immediately deposited one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight... In short, so many zeroes I couldn't count them, into my account.

I wiped my tears, paid extra for a taxi, and went to eat at an all-you-can-eat restaurant that cost 388 yuan per person.

Whatever I wanted to eat, I could have in no time. Wherever I wanted to go, I could set off whenever I pleased.

Whatever I wanted to do, I could start right away. If I wanted to see a friend, I could go see them at once.

I never had to worry about how much money, time, or energy it would take.

I sighed.

Spending money really is a joy.
