[Greek Mythology] Deceiving the Gods

During a rehearsal for a magic show with an ancient Greek theme, Wen Di recited a spell with convincing flair.

Unexpectedly, a flash of brilliant light made the spell come true. She had physically transmigrated to the magnificent age of Greek mythology, becoming an ordinary resident of Athens.

Relying on her understanding of magic and her practical skills, Wen Di managed to eke out a living in a land shared by gods and mortals, living with an old woman who had no one else.

After the old woman died, someone knocked on her door.

It was an uninvited guest with eyes of different colors.

He looked somewhere between boy and young man. The beauty of that transitional age was mysterious and captivating, blending a boy's sharpness with a young man's carefree confidence.

The visitor introduced himself as “Mercury.” He claimed to be the old woman's son, who suffered from an eye condition, and asked Wen Di to take him in.

So Wen Di made him swear by Hermes, god of commerce and contracts:

“I'll teach you magic, and you'll protect me.”

“Deal.”

That night, Wen Di prayed before a stone tablet: “...If he has ulterior motives, cut it off!”

At that moment, Hermes, passing through the heavens above, stopped in his tracks, his face full of confusion.

Hermes: ? Cut what off?

Hermes: What are you cutting off?

5. Since Greek mythological names are so long, characters will be referred to by “divine role + name,” such as “Aphrodite, goddess of beauty” and “Eros, god of love.” That way, readers who don't want to memorize names can just follow the divine roles.

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been experiencing symptoms including, but not limited to, “falling head over heels all by yourself” and “being rejected by Daphne.” The goddess of beauty and I regret to hear it.

After checking, I can confirm that my divine arrows haven't developed those functions yet.

Please look for the cause within yourself.
