Straightforward girl x green-tea childhood friend (the story of Meng Yanxi's uncle)
Song Ying never dreamed she would end up with Meng Shiyan.
They met by chance as children, but they were worlds apart in every way.
Meng Shiyan was born with a silver spoon in his mouth: good-looking, powerful, and with spending money as his life's greatest pursuit.
Song Ying was obsessed with researching fortune-telling prompts, trying every way she could to get DeepSeek to tell her how to become rich overnight.
No work, no start-up money, no side effects, money pouring in from every direction, and preferably a little romance on the side.
DeepSeek told her to ask Doubao.
Song Ying spent half a year flirting with the crush who had appeared out of nowhere. On the day she finally decided to confess, Meng Shiyan drove her there, and a light rain began to fall along the way.
Song Ying: "Things are falling into place. That's a good sign!"
Meng Shiyan glanced at her expressionlessly. "Ying means wood. Rain nourishes wood. That guy is good for you."
Song Ying called him a jinx.
Before she could even confess, Song Ying got into an argument with her crush.
Meng Shiyan tried to break it up, but the jerk shoved him to the ground. A piece of broken glass cut his finger, and Song Ying was so furious that she cut ties with the jerk right then and there.
Outside the pharmacy, Meng Shiyan let Song Ying bandage his finger into a bow. His expression was remorseful. "I'm sorry. This is all because of me. I'll make it up to you."
Song Ying said, "You don't have to. It wasn't your fault."
Meng Shiyan suddenly leaned in and kissed her, then said again, "I'll make it up to you."

After they got together, Song Ying thought back over everything Meng Shiyan had done. The more she thought about it, the more familiar it seemed, though she couldn't say what was strange about it.
Until one day, while they were eating hot pot, a TV in a neighborhood shop played a romance drama. A scheming supporting actress was driving a wedge between the male and female leads, and the second female lead pretended the heroine had pushed her to the ground.
Song Ying suddenly understood.
A man turning into a green tea? Life really does get better!
#How can a childhood friend beat someone who appears out of nowhere?
#Because the childhood friend fights for her, competes for her, and plays the green tea card ^_^
