A Little Rich Lady in the Millennium Era

Duan Wei died on the day of her mother's funeral.

When she opened her eyes again, she had somehow returned to the new millennium, to the time when she'd just started seventh grade.

Her widowed grandmother made money by collecting recyclables. Her mother had been divorced for years, and her job was going badly. She was superstitious, burned incense, neglected her work, and swung between moods, taking everything out on her own family.

The family rented a tiny, shabby room, and money was so tight they could hear it rattle.

Duan Wei looked at her chubby little self in the mirror, then thought of how her mother's money was about to be conned away by some "master."

She fiercely wiped her face. Fine, first she'd set herself a small goal: make money! Make lots of money! Give her grandmother and mother better lives!

As for her mother, who kept blaming the heavens, the earth, and her... Duan Wei sighed. What else could she do? She'd have to change her mother little by little.
