Dawn's Journey

Xue Chao thought she would love Zhang Shengya forever and ever. Even if he never returned her feelings for the rest of her life, she would still love him.

Later, Zhang Shengya became a thorn in her heart, a drop of blood, a moonlight she could never reach.

If only she had never found out that Zhang Shengya had once liked her, too.

What difference did it make if he had? Just because she hadn't gotten ahead of Zhang Shengya when they were children, was she doomed to spend her whole life looking up at him, watching him fall in love and get married before her, and maybe even have children before her? Would the chance to confess, which she had spent so many years striving for, never come even in her dreams?

Later, Xue Chao saw Zhang Shengya again. She could no longer blush in his presence as she had in her youth. Instead, she casually said, "It's been so many years."

Zhang Shengya nodded and hurried away.

Perhaps they would never even see each other again.

People say you should stay away from someone you like at first sight. Xue Chao didn't believe it. Only later did she realize she should have stayed away from Zhang Shengya back then.
