A Passionate Romance Between Beijing and Shanghai

Before his sophomore year began, Qi Ye got a message from an older friend in his circle, asking him to look after Yu Xingyuan, a young master from Shanghai who was about to start at B University.

He scoffed. Damn it, who needs a personal minder just to go to college?

Why not hire a bodyguard to attend classes with him, too?

He privately sneered, figuring the kid was another spoiled, useless rich boy there to add a prestigious school to his resume.

At the opening ceremony, Yu Xingyuan gave a speech as the freshman representative. As he passed the seats, a dozing upperclassman lazily flipped him the bird.

"????????"

The young master quietly filed away the grudge.

The next day in the cafeteria, Qi Ye brazenly cut in line. Yu Xingyuan calmly stepped up and tapped his shoulder with his student ID. "Senior, queuing is basic courtesy."

Then he bought the last serving of sweet-and-sour spare ribs.

Qi Ye stared at his empty plate. "...I hate you."

And so their feud began.

Later, Qi Ye realized that this young master from Shanghai was no useless rich kid who needed looking after. He had sharp claws and held a grudge, yet his face was so sweet and innocent.

Until one day at a group dinner, Zhou Mingyu sidled over, waggling his eyebrows. "So, how far have you two gotten?"

Qi Ye replied expressionlessly, "We haven't gotten anywhere."

Zhou Mingyu turned to Yu Xingyuan. "What do you say?"

Yu Xingyuan blinked his beautiful eyes and deliberately drew out his words. "We're in the flirting stage~"

"..." Everyone at the table spat out their food, while Qi Ye choked until his face and neck turned red.
