Red and White

"When did I ever say I wanted to be with you?"

Zhu Yu spent her teens and twenties missing her mother.

She hoped to find the mother who had disappeared many years ago.

By chance, while heading north, she ran into a man with whom she had shared a past many years earlier.

He looked just as he had back then, brazen and unrestrained. Zhu Yu was forced to stop in her tracks.

With nothing to her name, she was all the more carefree.

What did Peng Ze matter? What did his parents matter? She didn't want to care about any of it.

"Did you keep this child to get back at me?"

"You were the one who wanted the child."

Peng Ze never imagined the tables would turn on him so quickly.

Even in his thirties, Peng Ze still hadn't learned what love meant.

Neither had Zhu Yu. All she wanted was to get away.
