A First Love After Drinking

Pei Yining, the only daughter of the Pei family and a popular singer, has been on over a thousand blind dates. She’s the most anti-men person around, and after 35 years of being single, she finally turns out to be gay.

The first time she meets Gu Xingluo is on a snowy night when she’s drunk. The second time, she meets her at a private club after being drugged.

Both times, she’s in danger. Both times, Gu Xingluo saves her.

As the saying goes, you repay a life-saving favor by offering yourself. Pei Yining, who was the first to go in for a kiss, has no objections. The problem is, Gu Xingluo does.

"I’m not a lesbian," she insists, and "I’m not butch," she keeps saying. This leaves the late-blooming Pei Yining at a loss.

But then again, she’s already fallen in love. Is she really going to let Gu Xingluo get away?

There are thirty-six stratagems, so one of them has to work. A love that’s coaxed into being is still love.

But just when Gu Xingluo finally admits that she loves her, they spend a night together, and then Gu Xingluo pulls up her pants and leaves without a second thought. "We’re not right for each other. Don’t see me again," she says, then disappears.

Pei Yining: ??? If you don’t like my skills, I can practice!!!

Six months later, they meet again. Pei Yining is moved to tears, only to hear Gu Xingluo introduce herself: "Hello, big sis. I’m your younger brother’s fiancée, Gu Xingluo."

Pei Yining is struck like lightning. "You, him, you two... weren’t you gay?"

Gu Xingluo smiles broadly, with infuriating ease. "I’m not sure what you mean, big sis, but I really don’t like women."

Pei Yining is about to lose her mind. "You lied to me? Why?!"

Gu Xingluo pushes away the person in front of her and licks the bead of blood welling on her lower lip. Her eyes are cold, yet hurt. "Big sis, I’m your actual sister-in-law. Isn’t this a little inappropriate?"

Special note: One-on-one romance, happy ending, the younger brother isn’t part of the love triangle
