Synopsis:
You transmigrate to an unfamiliar world, your consciousness inhabiting a strange body.
On top of that, you've lost most of your memories and have lived in an orphanage run by the Church of Evernight since childhood.
To recover your lost memories, you say goodbye to your childhood friend at the orphanage and set off alone for Backlund, where you land a job as a physician's assistant.
After leaving Tingen, you encounter all kinds of twists and turns in life.
Including, but not limited to: “The boss has gone missing,” “The Aurora Order has caused another disaster,” and “The history department underclassman has come back from the dead.” And then
You're forced to become a “cultist.”
“I'm a Faceless Fool, not the Fool!”
A Little Scene:
You: Believe me, I'm really not the Fool!
Childhood friend: Come back with me to the Church of Evernight.
Above the Gray Fog
You and your childhood friend: ?
A Second Little Scene:
You: Boss, I'm here to save you!
You: ...?
You: Underclassman, you're alive?
Underclassman (with a long beard): You've got the wrong person!
A Third Little Scene:
You: Sob, everyone from the church is trying to catch me. At least you're nice...
Best friend: That's so sad. Why don't we start believing in Error?
You: ? Bestie, are you worshipping an evil god?
Best friend (monocle): What do you think?
The scenes above take place at unspecified points in the timeline and appear at random in the main story.
Please note:
The main story is a third-person, reader-insert romance aimed at female readers, written to indulge the author's tastes.
The heroine is a little crazy, has an unusual way of thinking, and lacks common sense.
The original sequences are not rigorously designed, and the power-ups are extremely overpowered.
Contains lots of original worldbuilding, mainly involving Lord of the Mysteries and the Aeons from Honkai: Star Rail.
Not just a few everyday-life scenes. The author likes melodrama, and the blurb may change at any time.
I hadn't read Circle of Inevitability when I started writing, so there may be overlapping ideas.
Honkai: Star Rail is mainly background. The Trailblazer is the player, depicted as male.
[This story will switch from daily updates to irregular updates. The platform won't let me publish crossovers in this category, so I can't get a contract. Sad...]
[I'll update when inspiration strikes. I still hope this story gets more attention and comments.]
[I'll start a new Lord of the Mysteries story and put it on the coming-soon list. If you're interested, please add it to your collection~]
Theme: If you don't have the brains for it, why pretend to be the Fool?
I bet this foster carer won't be aha! I really can't do it anymore.
Boss, boss, now that Yuewen has signed a contract, please be sure to make a transaction of 100 Jinjiang coins with me 🥺 🥺 🥺
The elder is Grandpa Pales, right?
