Li Deng is a handsome straight man who became Qin Siwei's kept lover for money, but turned down his marriage proposal, always hoping he could return to being straight someday.

"Your big brother is different."

Li Deng's face flushed with anger as he tried to explain.

But the other man didn't believe him, and kept pestering him.

Unable to salvage his reputation and unable to avoid this roguish playboy, Li Deng had no choice but to message another of Qin Siwei's younger brothers for help.

He thought that Qin Huaichuan was the heir to the Qin family's business empire and held an exalted position. If he, the second brother, stepped in to rein in his younger brother, Qin Siming would surely think twice.

On a later night,

Li Deng hid in a closet in a state of complete breakdown, covered in all sorts of perfume.

He was hiding from Qin Huaichuan's sharp-nosed dog, and from Qin Huaichuan himself.

Even as he was carried out, Li Deng kept yelling, "I'm straight!"

Qin Huaichuan stared at his trembling lips and bent down to sniff him. A smile curved across his usually aloof, chaste face. "Are you?"

Li Deng nodded frantically, only to hear the man declare, slowly and firmly, "Then from now on, your straight life is over."

Later... after dodging one person after another,

Li Deng began to look around in bewilderment at the next-generation scions connected to this circle by family ties:

There was the Xie family's cousin, who teamed up with him to start a brand, was gentle and well-mannered, and believed in Buddhism;

the Zhang family's heir to a shipping business, who was funny and always took him out to have fun;

the sunny, cute young man studying in the US at a prestigious high school from the Weisheng family, whom Li Deng had once saved;

the two cold and scheming Dai twins, who were alike in every way; the arrogant power behind the scenes in the Hai family; the rare gentle gentleman of the Min family; and the hard-to-approach head of the Li family...

but the others seemed to regard him as their big brother's inheritance too, eyeing him covetously and watching him like predators.
