I'm the Savior, but the Sky Screen Spoiled the Plot?

July 23, 2735, 2:55 p.m.

An enormous, unknown sky screen suddenly appears in the sky, drawing the attention of everyone in the world.

After the disasters of the future begin, scholars unanimously call it the start of a new era.

Wu Zhuoyan is a struggling high school senior. His grades are mediocre, right around the middle of the class. At best, his college entrance exam results might get him into a second-tier university. A first-tier one is out of the question, and wishing for it won't help.

He thinks he works pretty hard, but he just can't get into studying.

Not everyone is blessed with talent. He certainly isn't. Once he comes to understand this clearly, Wu Zhuoyan feels almost justified in giving up and coasting through life.

Another reason is that whether he works hard or not, the orphanage won't care, and no one else will bother looking after him either.

Just as Wu Zhuoyan thinks his life will pass by in an ordinary, unremarkable way,

The strange changes in the sky prompt his school to give everyone a week off, telling the students to go home and wait for further notice.

Wu Zhuoyan is no exception. As a student, he thinks that apart from studying, his main duty is to follow the instructions of the government and school.

So he obediently returns to the orphanage and spends his days doing one thing: looking after the children.

This way of life continues until the sky screen changes.
