Has the Immortal Lord Walked His Dog Today?

Cold on the outside, doting Immortal Venerable seme x innocent, greedy little dog uke

Shen Qingxian is the number one Immortal Venerable in the cultivation world, cold and heartless, and never gets involved in other people's affairs.

One snowy, blustery night at the mountain gate, he spotted a little stray dog, covered in blood and with a broken leg, lying in a snowdrift, barely alive.

When it saw him approach, the little thing trembled and moved, pushing the half-eaten bone it had hidden beneath itself, stolen from who knows where, toward his feet.

Its round, black eyes looked up at him, and the tip of its tail gave a tiny wag.

He crouched down, his voice flat. "So weak..."

Before he could finish, he met a pair of glistening eyes. Using the last of its strength, the little thing stuck out its warm tongue and licked his cold fingertips.

Just once.

Shen Qingxian looked down at it, then finally tucked the cold, fluffy bundle into his arms.

Later, the entire cultivation world was stunned.

That cold, heartless Immortal Venerable had actually adopted a stray dog with no spiritual roots, and spoiled it rotten.

It stole immortal fruit, chewed up books, and caused trouble wherever it went.

Whenever someone came to complain, Shen Qingxian would stroke the little menace in his arms and answer without batting an eye:

"It's still young. I'll compensate you."

Then one day, the little stray dog suddenly took human form.

With messy hair and clear, puppy-like eyes, the boy hugged a pile of random things and happily dashed toward his master.

"Master! I saved these for you!"

But he tripped and sent them both tumbling into the hot spring.

Amid the swirling steam, Shen Qingxian pinched the back of his neck and drew the boy, who was too frightened to move, closer to his arms. He laughed softly.

"Silly dog."

[Reader's notes]:

1. The seme dotes on the uke, and the uke really is a naive, sweet little fool.

2. The writing is amateurish, and the plot is a mess.

3. The everyday life is very everyday.
