[Updates when inspiration strikes; the other story comes first]
After eight years of following celebrities, Qu Qingxun's youth slipped away in airports, on film sets, and during countless late nights spent editing photos.
She had seen the dazzling heights, and knew all too well the ugly cracks beneath the shine.
She thought this love-fueled chapter of her life would be sealed away when she graduated. Then another artist she'd once truly loved crashed and burned on the trending page, in the most predictable way possible.
While clearing out the last of her merchandise, a being claiming to be a business System suddenly came knocking.
[Host's ability to understand the workings of a particular industry is above average. Business target and scope will now be set to the entertainment industry.]
[The following is your starter mission: Establish an entertainment agency within 30 days.]
[Requirements: Employees (0/5), office space (0/1)]
[Additional mission: Sign at least one artist (0/1)]
Qu Qingxun looks at the System's list of tasks that need handling, then out the window at the glittering sea of fame she once pursued with her head tilted back.
This time, she turns the camera around.
Instead of chasing shooting stars that vanish in an instant, she'll build her own star-making machine with her own hands.
From obscurity to fame, from a tiny studio to an industry giant, the young actor she signed becomes a Best Actor, the trainee she selected becomes a top-tier star, and the singer everyone wrote off becomes a voice from heaven.
The idol she once stayed up all night voting for now respectfully addresses her as "President Qu" backstage at an awards ceremony.
When the entertainment headlines finally read, "Uncovering Shangyu Media's Qu Qingxun: The Magic Touch Behind the Entertainment Industry's Trendsetter," she sits in her office overlooking the city at night, listening to the System's notifications as her global business empire keeps expanding, and simply smiles.
From gazing up at the stars to making stars.
She walks this road more steadily than anyone.
Note:
1. This is an alternate setting that draws on real-world locations and variety-show formats, but none of the artists are based on real people. There are multiple characters with their own storylines.
2. The female lead's career is the focus. There will be one or more romances, but they are just a side dish and take up little space. She won't date any of the artists, get married, or have children.
3. The characters have a range of sexual orientations, and there will be publicity stunts and people shipping couples.
4. The author has only been a fan and has never worked in the entertainment industry, so there are plenty of invented details (I made it an alternate setting, so cut me some slack).
5. I don't support personal attacks or treating characters as real people. Whoever you compare them to is doomed to fail.
6. You're welcome to ship the female lead with other characters or ship the characters with each other, but there are many potential pairings for the female lead, and I can't promise every one will be sweet.
7. To be continued...
Theme: Follow your heart and dare to forge your own path
[Chigua][Chigua] Haha, it seems that most entertainment industry management articles recommend male groups first and then female groups.
You can write a little bit here and there, but I really don't like to watch an entire chapter of a talent show without the main character [Chigua][Chigua]
Today's update will be a little later, there is still no saved manuscript and the code is in progress
