[Gentle, Top-Student Good Girl x Sunny, Cheerful Top-Student Boy]
How should I describe the first time we met? I think you were a free-spirited cat who led me out of the rainy season. I'm glad I met you, Jingxi. I'm glad I met you, Xian.
It was a sunny day in a run-down alley in the south of the city. That was where they first met. Lu Jingxi was tangled up with a few thugs when a voice suddenly rang out: "What are you doing? I've called the police!" Overwhelmed with fear, she didn't dare look at the boy being beaten. She hurriedly handed him a tissue and ran off. "He's... a really, really good person."
She thought they would never meet again, but fate had other ideas. An autumn rain trapped Ji Xian outside the entrance to a convenience store. That was their second encounter.
He ran through the downpour toward the store, holding something close to his chest, though she couldn't see what it was. He was just as bright and eye-catching as ever. Only when he stopped beside Ji Xian could she see that he was sheltering a kitten.
"Need a tissue?" Her voice broke the silence. "It looks like it does." Ji Xian pointed to the kitten in his arms.
"Thank you."
I think I believe in you now, fate.
His rain-soaked hair, the kitten in his arms, the tissue she offered. And so the gears of fate began to turn. I'm so glad I met you, Ji Xian / Lu Jingxi.
