After the Hopeless Straight Guy Became a Dad

1.

Yan Er was handsome, and although people of the same sex often confessed to him, he was straight.

After years of a monotonous 996 work schedule, one day, while buying a cola at the convenience store downstairs from his office, a few strange phrases suddenly popped into his mind.

[Mama...]

[When will I find you...?]

[You have three months left to live...]

Huh?

Yan Er bit down on the bottle, expressionless.

Three months to live? Who'd believe that?

2.

He thought it was just a hallucination, but the voice in his head grew clearer and clearer.

Following a guide he found online, Yan Er went to a private clinic.

A long-haired man wearing gold-rimmed glasses looked up from the report and slowly took his slender wrist.

His voice was warm and sincere. "I think you could spend the time you have left letting go and doing whatever you want."

So Yan Er put on a collar and a little dress, then secretly opened a livestream while his roommate was out working long hours.

One day, while connecting with a fan on stream, he unexpectedly met a pair of blood-red eyes.

"I've finally found you, my darling."

"Every insect living in the human world is waiting for your return."

Yan Er instinctively tried to end the livestream, but a tingling sensation rose from his back.

A pair of trembling little wings slowly emerged, their tips glistening with liquid.

Yan Er: ??!!!

"Extra scene"

Yan Er was too embarrassed to face anyone.

His wings were uncomfortable at the slightest touch. Even beneath a thick down jacket, their unusual bulge was clearly visible.

So he returned to the clinic and unzipped his jacket in front of the man who seemed so refined and gentle.

But the next moment, his wings felt only warm dampness.

The man wrapped his arms around Yan Er's waist and led him into a dark room.

"Darling."

"Your throat will hurt later, so save your strength."

Yan Er used to be most afraid of bugs. Now, he was still most afraid of bugs.
