This book is really a breath of fresh air in the imperial literature of the late Ming Dynasty! The author writes Emperor Tianqi (Longwu) as a man of action who started planning from his residence. The logic is too online - from forming a young army and reorganizing the officials to govern the inner court, to sending the imperial army and cabinet ministers to the south of the Yangtze River to withdraw the Nanjing Six Ministries and defend the southwestern chieftains, to focusing heavily on Liaodong and equipping 100,000 imperial troops with artillery and matchlocks to fight against Nurhaci. Every step is well-founded and the details are surprisingly solid. There is no brainless fun, there is only a step-by-step road to saving the country. It is so exciting to watch Zhu Youxiao lead Ming Dynasty to make a comeback against the odds! Especially the details of armaments and layout, I can feel that the author has put in a lot of effort, making it both satisfying and reasonable. I'm sure it's final! I beg the author to add more updates, I want to see the famous scene where the Imperial Guards fight hard against the Jin Dynasty!
