A love crushed by reality makes you cry every time you read it. "Behind human nature is a white cloud. I hope you and I can become masters of life." This sentence comes from "My 26-year-old Female Tenant". After reading this book, I have mixed feelings in my heart. Those difficult plots are like thorns piercing the bottom of my heart. The male protagonist Zhaoyang, a literary young man with a head full of poetry and distant places, falls passionately in love with his first love, Jian Wei. In a small rental house, they build the dream of "City in the Sky" together, poor but pure. But the slap of reality is always ruthless. Jane Wei left for the United States, and the two parted ways due to misunderstanding. The old alliance was vulnerable to reality, leaving only Zhaoyang drunk in loneliness and decadence. This is like the love that ended in vain in our youth. We once thought we would be together forever, but were easily defeated by distance, time and reality. Those beautiful memories have become eternal pain in our hearts. Le Yao's appearance is like a glimmer of light in the darkness. Like Zhaoyang, she is a person who has been scarred by life. They warmed each other and agreed to be "masters of life". Le Yao loved passionately and without reservation, and even bore the consequences of pregnancy alone for Zhao Yang. But her affection was ultimately wrong, and Zhaoyang never really loved her. She was like a bright meteor that passed through Zhaoyang's life, but failed to leave an eternal trace. In the end, she walked away with her broken youth and became a victim of a wealthy marriage. This unrequited love makes people unable to help but cry for Le Yao, and also allows us to see the helplessness and cruelty of love. When Zhaoyang finally walked out of the shadow of the past with Mi Cai's company, life played another joke on him. When Jian Wei returns to China, three women who love him deeply appear in front of him, and he is forced to make a choice between ideals, youth and reality. This is not only Zhaoyang's dilemma, but also a choice that each of us will face as we grow up. Should you stick to your original dream, or bow to reality? Should you choose the unforgettable past or cherish the happiness in front of you? "My 26-Year-Old Female Tenant" is not a simple romance novel. It nakedly displays the cruelty of life, the helplessness of love, and the disillusionment of ideals before our eyes. Those missed people and regretful things are like mirrors, reflecting our own lives. Reading this book is like looking back at my own past that is full of regrets and unhappiness. Every page touches the softest part of my heart. If you also love this kind of story that makes people cry uncontrollably and want to feel the most real life, then you must read "My 26-year-old Female Tenant". Have tissues ready, because they will make you shed your own tears in other people's stories.
