The new book has a male protagonist with no cp. The writing is quite interesting so far, not cliché. It's not particularly brainless, but it's not a cool novel. It doesn't follow the main line of the original book at the moment. It's about the protagonist's own story which is pretty good. I've read too many brainless cool novels and heartthrobs, so it's time to read something light.
