You can try "My Memory Is Perjury". It's more of a realistic criminal investigation, not the kind of mindless cheating. The protagonist is Zhang Limin, who was involved in merged cases and old cases all the way from the Chengnan Police Station. He was accompanied by Zhou Hai, an old detective who was suppressed because of an old cold storage case six years ago. This book has a strong sense of procedure, project advancement, and evidence chain. It is not a pure novel, but more like digging out the truth bit by bit from files and people's mouths. If you like writing to the police realistically, you can try it.
