No stories where the protagonist immediately says they are afraid the original owner's family will notice they're different, so they go off to the countryside. No one with tons of supplies still going to the black market. No holier-than-thou protagonists, and no overusing the golden finger so blatantly that it's obvious the protagonist has a problem. And don't have the male lead discover the golden finger as soon as he and the protagonist get together.
