Reborn as Consort De, I Won't Put Up with This Favoritism Anymore

Only after her death did the Uya clan woman realize that the Fourteenth Prince, Yinzhen, whom she had doted on with all her heart and soul throughout her life, never ultimately ascended the throne. Instead, the Fourth Prince, Yinzhen, whom she had guarded against at every turn and treated with cold indifference, became the emperor of the Great Qing. Mother and son tormented each other until the very end!

Reborn into the year she had just been promoted to Consort De, she looked at the young Yinzhen, still living unhappily in Chengqian Palace, and at the child in her womb who had yet to be born. The Uya clan woman finally tore up the muddled accounts of her past life.

Armed with decades' worth of memories of court affairs and palace secrets from her previous life, she had no interest in who would claim the throne this time. All she cared about was keeping things fair and laying down the rules at Yonghe Palace!

Facing Noble Consort Tongjia, who treated Yinzhen like a chess piece, and Consorts Hui, Yi, and Rong, who eyed her hungrily from the harem, the Uya clan woman deftly turned their force against them.

Yinzhen was withdrawn and prone to brooding, so she brought him back to the palace and made him practice the Eight Brocades every day and write journal entries to ease his pent-up feelings.

After Yinzhen was born, he dared to throw tantrums and act spoiled under the protection of being the youngest. She dealt with him directly according to the family rules, showing no leniency.

Under her iron-fisted upbringing, the brothers who had once been bitter rivals became a solid pair, loving and respectful toward one another.

When the storm of the Nine Princes' succession struggle swept through the court once more, Kangxi watched Yinzhen and Yinzhen join forces to leave their political rivals speechless. Who, exactly, had secretly rewritten the fate of the Great Qing?
