Reborn as Cannon Fodder, the Disgraced Empress Goes on a Rampage

[Unhinged Female Lead] [Strong Female Lead] [Palace Intrigue Comedy] [Comeback] [Satisfying Face-Slapping]

The warlords carve up the Great Yong Dynasty, and imperial authority is hanging by a thread. Emperor Shen Tingbai is forced to marry the adopted daughter of General Song as his empress. He intends to use her to keep the various factions in check, a mere pawn to be discarded once she's served her purpose.

But the pawn suddenly comes to her senses. No, she's got a new soul.

Song Jiaojiao, the boss of Blackwind Stronghold, transmigrates into the world and lands amid the crumbling walls of the Cold Palace. She doesn't cry, make a scene, or try to hang herself. Instead, she pats the moldy wall and laughs: "These walls are thick, this territory is huge, and there are people everywhere. It's way grander than my Blackwind Stronghold!"

"Your Majesty, the Noble Consort has sent someone to put you in your place."

"Put me in my place?" Song Jiaojiao rolls up her sleeves. "I took down three mountains with a fire poker back in the day. Bring her on. Let's see how hard I can hit."

From then on, the harem's consorts stop competing with one another, because they're all busy vying for Song Jiaojiao's favor. In the breaks between memorials, Emperor Shen Tingbai receives a new battle report every day: "Your Majesty, three more consorts have defected to the enemy... No, wait, they've joined the Empress."

Shen Tingbai: "...Is my harem still my harem?"

Song Jiaojiao raises her cup from afar. "Thanks! This harem is pretty nice. From now on, it's the Great Yong branch of my Blackwind Stronghold."
