After Our Empathy Pact, the Tyrannical Dragon Emperor Has Red Eyes Every Day

The Immortal Alliance forces the crippled Yun Lue to marry his sworn enemy, the Dragon Emperor Cang Xuan. The whole world waits to see the Sword Venerable torn apart by the vicious dragon.

But once their shared-sensation contract is sealed, Cang Xuan spends every day in the bedchamber, doubled over and retching in pain.

Cang Xuan: "Were your bones ripped out and your marrow refined?!"

Yun Lue rolls over to sun himself. "No, it's just an old ailment. I'm used to it."

Cang Xuan: "Have you lost all will to live?!"

Yun Lue takes a bite of a wild fruit. "It's so sour. I don't feel like moving. Just let me sleep myself to death."

The arrogant, brutal Dragon Emperor completely breaks down and becomes a doting, fatherly attendant on the spot:

You don't want spirit stones? Here, take them all! Spend as much as you like from every mine in the realm!

You won't drink your bitter medicine? I'll learn to make candied fruit and feed it to you, one bite at a time!

Someone dares speak loudly to him? Dragonfire will set the sky ablaze, and I'll scatter their ashes to the winds!

Later, Yun Lue merely chokes on some tea at a conference and coughs up a barely visible trace of blood.

Cang Xuan summons a thunderbolt stretching ten thousand feet, sweeps his spear across the peaks of Kunlun, and points a bloodshot gaze at the Three Realms:

"Who hurt him?! I'll make the whole world pay!"

Yun Lue chews the ninth spiritual fruit stuffed into his mouth and sighs:

"...It really was just too-hot water, Your Majesty the Evil Dragon. Put your tail away, it's digging into my waist."
