NBA: From the Start, I Have Ten Billion and Buy the Rockets

In 2002, that stingy Houston owner wants to sell the team? Lin Feng is reborn and, from the start, sells off his ancestral property to raise ten billion, then makes a bold move to buy the Rockets! The first thing he does after taking over is fire the incompetent management. Pointing to a name on the draft list, he says, “Trade for the first overall pick. I want LeBron James!” The entire league laughs at him for being a fool with too much money? Then Yao Ming learns to shoot threes, LeBron James arrives in Houston, Tracy McGrady’s spine is healed, and Curry gets drafted early… Barkley: “Lin Feng isn’t an owner. He’s God!” Stern: “I have to change the rules because the Rockets are too strong!” Lin Feng sits in his box, swirling a glass of red wine. “I came here for just one thing: to win the championship, win the championship, and damn well win the championship!”
