Back to 2002: Sell the Coal Mine, Buy the Dip on Chips

[Rebirth in a bygone era + industrial management + capital battles]

Reborn in 2002, Lu Yan wakes up at his father's desk, where contracts are signed.

A sixty-million-yuan loan, mine expansion, increased output: everyone thinks coal's golden age is only just beginning.

But he caps his pen. "Dad, sell the mine."

Coal prices will keep rising, and the buyer will still make a fortune. What Lu Yan wants to seize is another door about to close: an overseas equipment business is pulling out, its engineers are preparing to split up, and its core technology is being dismantled and sold off piece by piece.

With 320 million yuan in hand, the first thing he does is rush to save a precision motion platform that was nearly dismantled.

Getting the machine to run isn't enough. The code must be editable, they must have the right to use the technology, and the people who stay must have salaries and projects. If even one of those is missing, he won't spend a cent.

His competitors are busy buying mines and expanding production, laughing at him for spending real money on scrap.

Lu Yan simply lays out the test records.

This time, he will leave his father a way out, and buy himself a place in the age of semiconductors.
