The Little Koi Goes Sea Foraging, and Her Netful of Yellow Croaker Makes the Village Bully Drool

[Farming and fishing at sea + adorable baby adored by everyone + face-slapping the awful ones + cozy and healing, a fiercely protective adoptive mother versus a fierce little sea treasure who guards her family]

The Lin family had five daughters in a row, but none of them survived. They became the village's infamous family with no heirs.

The nasty old woman cursed them as born poor, and their bloodsucking second uncle stole their last remaining fishing boat. The whole village waited to see the honest couple starve to death in the sea wind.

Then one day, the waves carried a soft, cherubic baby into the arms of the Lin couple.

"Papa, Mama, Sea Treasure will catch fish and feed you!"

The villagers burst into laughter. What kind of fish could a three-year-old little money-loser catch?

But soon, everyone in the village was green with envy!

Others risked their lives at sea and couldn't even catch a strand of kelp, but when the Lin family's little Sea Treasure stood on a reef, giant lobsters with claws as thick as arms lined up to jump into her bucket. Hundred-pound yellow croaker swam right into the nets, and even rare black pearls from the deep sea appeared in heaps in the Lin family's courtyard!

The nasty grandmother came to their door, green with envy, making a scene and trying to steal their money. Sea Treasure waved her little hand. "Uncle Octopus, smack her!"

A giant octopus, eight stories tall and covered in suction cups, reached a tentacle out of the sea and sent the old woman flying right out of the village!

When pirates raided the shore to seize the Lin family's land, a legendary deep-sea tortoise that had lived for a thousand years surfaced. One furious roar was enough to scare the pirates into turning themselves in that very night!
