Great Tang: I Faked My Death to Escape, and Li Er Begged Me to Return to Court

After transmigrating to the Tang Dynasty, Li Cheng Qian becomes a crippled, unwanted Crown Prince who suffers from a leg ailment. Faced with Li Shi Min's favoritism and the ministers' relentless pressure, Li Cheng Qian gives up completely. If you all care so much about fighting over worldly imperial power, then I won't be Crown Prince of the Tang anymore! During a carefully planned fire at the Eastern Palace, Li Cheng Qian fakes his death and vanishes. From then on, he hides from the world and focuses on developing the divine kingdom within him. When Li Shi Min hears of his death, he merely sighs, then turns around and pours all his resources into Li Tai and Li Zhi. Years later, however, the Tang Dynasty is invaded by foreign tribes and demons working together. As the dynasty teeters on the brink of collapse, a vast immortal dynasty suddenly descends from the heavens. One hundred thousand golden-armored celestial soldiers suppress the cosmos, and any one of their immortal generals could easily sweep away the Turkic army. Seeking protection and the path to eternal life, Li Shi Min leads his court through countless hardships to pay homage to the supreme Celestial Emperor. But when the divine radiance around the Nine-Dragon Imperial Throne fades and the Celestial Emperor slowly opens his eyes, the Tang emperor and his ministers are utterly stunned, their entire worldview shattered. Li Shi Min's legs give way. He falls to his knees, weeping bitterly and begging the discarded Crown Prince he had driven to his death to return to the Tang and rule the empire.
