In Hengdian, All My Visitors Want to Be the Lead

After refusing to falsify tourist complaint data for her company, Lin Zhiwei is forced to resign. With her mother hospitalized and the family in debt over her treatment, she goes to Hengdian and takes over a tourist short-drama experience project that is about to be canceled.

Shen Yanchuan became extremely serious about safety and rules after his younger brother was injured in a high-altitude experience accident. He is now the safety supervisor for Hengdian's experience projects.

When Lin Zhiwei takes the place of a tourist who abruptly drops out without permission, Shen Yanchuan stops the shoot in front of everyone. That is how they first meet.

After their encounter, a group of tourists abruptly withdraws, props go out of control on set, and the project receives complaints. At first, Lin Zhiwei thinks Shen Yanchuan is cold and rigid, while he thinks she can only solve problems by giving in to her emotions.

As they work together to help tourists complete their role-play experiences, Lin Zhiwei discovers that although Shen Yanchuan seems heartless, he has actually been quietly protecting everyone all along. Shen Yanchuan, in turn, realizes that Lin Zhiwei is not impulsive: she can accurately sense the grievances others are afraid to voice.

Then a rival team maliciously plagiarizes the script, tourists' private information is leaked, and the project is on the verge of being shut down. Forced to join forces, the two set out to stage a real "wrap party for ten thousand ordinary people" in Hengdian.
