System Descends: My Comeback Begins with Ride-Hailing

System Descends: My Comeback Begins as a Ride-Hailing Driver is an inspirational urban story about rising from despair, where dignity and responsibility intertwine. On his 42nd birthday, Li Zhiqiang is hit by two blows at once: the company where he has worked for fifteen years lays him off, and his father suffers a sudden stroke and urgently needs money for surgery. Faced with crushing debt, a rebellious son, and a marriage growing increasingly distant, he chooses to hide the truth. Every day, he pretends to go to work, but in reality, he drives for a ride-hailing service just to scrape by.

On the verge of a breakdown, he unexpectedly binds himself to the “Life Comeback System” during a late-night drive, setting him on an extraordinary path to turn his life around. With the System's quests and skill boosts, he rediscovers his technical strengths, meets investor Su Ruoxi, and builds a team to launch a successful startup. At the same time, he must deal with loan sharks demanding repayment, his wife's first love circling like a predator, his son's misunderstanding, and his father's illness, all while trying to find a balance between lies and truth, dignity and reality.

This is more than just a wish-fulfillment story about turning one's life around with a System. It is also an honest portrayal of a middle-aged man holding fast to his responsibilities, mending family ties, and finding himself again amid the tides of the times. From ride-hailing driver to tech company founder, Li Zhiqiang proves through his actions that life has no dead ends. As long as you don't give up, even if you hit rock bottom, you can find your way back to the light, one step at a time.
