Interstellar: The Adorable, Beloved Baby Dragon Nuonuo Has Five Weird Older Brothers

In the junkyard district of a garbage planet, a filthy little creature pries open a three-centimeter-thick titanium alloy bulkhead and chews on sheet metal to stave off hunger.

Her name is Long Nuonuo. She's three and a half years old and doesn't know who she is or where she came from.

All she knows is that she's hungry.

After wandering into a military academy's examination supply station, she eats all 180 tubes of specialty nutrient paste in one go. Someone casually tosses her into the System, assigns her the last number in the roster, and sends her to the bottom-ranked team at the academy, which sits in 48th place.

The Polar Night Squad: five overlooked prodigies cast aside by the mainstream.

A sharp-tongued, scheming captain, a brawny close-combat assault specialist, a smiling mechanical maniac, a languid, world-weary information broker, and an arrogant peacock of a shield-bearer.

Nobody wants a toddler weighing them down.

But on the examination field, she slaps a simulated wounded soldier, restoring its broken bones with 100% accuracy and outperforming the seventh-generation nanotech healing device in every way.

A snow orchid that had been dead for twenty years sprouts new leaves and blossoms under her palm.

The sharp-tongued captain signs her up with his only recruitment warrant. The hot-tempered assault specialist peels fruit for her with a battle-axe dagger. The mechanical maniac welds her an automatic cradle. The world-weary young master bathes her himself, and the arrogant young master secretly warms milk and leaves it outside her door.

The whole academy laughs at Polar Night for taking on a toddler as their medic.

Her ancient dragon bloodline has yet to awaken, and the palm-sized glowing little lizard is still asleep.

But the five boys are already standing in front of her, their axe, folding fan, mechanical rabbit, heavy shield, and long-handled umbrella pointed at anyone who dares approach.

Go ahead. Try touching her.
