The 1980s: My Own Son Pulls the Plug, So I Set Out to Become a Tycoon

Outside the ICU, her own son discusses pulling the plug and dividing up the house, while even a 300-yuan burial outfit is too expensive for them.

Seventy-year-old Lin Sui'an is consumed by resentment. When she opens her eyes, she's reborn in 1980!

She's back at the family banquet where her eldest son pressured her to sell her secure job so he could go abroad and enjoy a comfortable life.

"Mom, sell your job and I'll repay you with twice as much filial devotion in the future!"

Filial devotion?

Is that what you called it in my last life?

Lin Sui'an slaps her snide eldest daughter-in-law across the face and kicks over the dining table!

"I, Lin Sui'an, had no parents of my own, and spent my whole life slaving away for your Zhao family!"

"Starting today, I have no children. I'm living for myself!"

She publicly tears up the ledger of debts her family owes her, forces her eldest son to sign a repayment agreement, and takes all the family's savings.

As the rotten lot stare in shock, she smashes the television to make her point, then leaves with her honest, hardworking husband.

From striking gold at the junkyard to trading treasury bonds, from taking over the supply and marketing cooperative to trading stocks in Shenzhen.

When her parasitic children are abandoned by everyone and fall to their knees begging for mercy, she's already a powerhouse in the business world and can't even be bothered to look at them.

In this life, she'll stand at the top of the world!
